Designed to showcase the best of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes, this journey takes you deep into the savannah where the rhythm of life is written by the great migrations and the calls of the wild.
Your adventure begins with sweeping views of the Serengeti plains, where lions, elephants, giraffes, and endless herds of wildebeest roam free. Weather in Colorado: September & October
Colorado’s fall hiking season offers crisp air, golden aspens, and clear mountain views — but it also brings quickly changing conditions, especially at higher elevations.
September:
At lower elevations (like Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs): days are usually warm and sunny, with highs in the 70s–80s °F (21–27°C). Evenings are cooler, often in the 40s–50s °F (5–15°C).
In the mountains: daytime temperatures are cooler, often in the 50s–60s °F (10–20°C), with mornings and nights dropping to near freezing. Afternoon thunderstorms are less frequent than in summer, but still possible.
October:
Fall colors peak in late September to early October, especially in the mountains.
Lower elevations remain mild (60s–70s °F / 15–23°C), but mountain weather becomes more unpredictable. Snow showers can occur at higher elevations, while valleys often stay sunny and crisp.
Nights in the mountains are cold, often in the 20s–30s °F (-6–0°C).
What to Expect:
Warm layers for chilly mornings and evenings.
Sun protection — even in cooler weather, Colorado’s high-altitude sun is strong.
Possible snow or icy patches on high-altitude trails, especially in October.
Clear, dry air — hydration is extra important.
